KIDS strong + free awareness and fundraising efforts now happening include:
MURAL CAMPAIGN
-
Fifteen murals, each in a different location around the
country will be designed monthly by Disney artist Ken Golden, who is
behind such works as Berenstain Bears, The Lion King, BRATZ and Magic
School Bus, among others. The murals are broken down into 1000 pieces
each, and sold for $100. One thousand pictures of the mural will be
coloured by children both in and out of treatment, with crayons donated
by Crayola, one of our sponsors. The artwork will then be presented to
each donor, along with a certificate of thanks, which will indicate the
piece they sponsored and will include a picture of each mural.
-
Across the country, each mural will be followed by a local BBQ
event where the children will assemble the pieces to reveal the mural.
The finished artwork will then appear on a forty-foot truck trailer,
which travel each province's highways. Donors will be entered into a
contest to win a trip for four to Disneyland

Students at Pope John XXIII to be a part of the bigger picture!
In December, students at Pope John XXIII School in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, took part in a photo shoot for our Mural campaign!
Because
kids are at the very heart of what we do, we are so excited to have
worked with these young people who are also passionate about making a
difference.
