Our Mural Campaign

MICYRN and Make-A-Wish Canada® need financial support, and that's where KIDS strong + free comes in. As the fundraising partner supporting MICYRN and Make-A-Wish Foundation Canada®, our current project invites everyone to be a part of the bigger picture.

Fifteen murals have been designed by Ken Golden, a Disney artist behind such works as Berenstain Bears, The Lion King, BRATZ and The Magic School Bus. These murals will be broken into 1,000 pieces each and sold for $100 in whole or in part in smaller denominations. Next, using crayons donated by Crayola®, children both in and out of treatment will colour these one thousand pictures. These treasured pieces of art will then be presented to each donor, along with a certificate of thanks, which will also indicate the piece they sponsored. Donors will also receive a picture of each mural. 

As the murals travel across the country, children will assemble the pieces, revealing the completed mural. The finished artwork will then appear on a 40 foot truck trailer which will travel on the highways of every province. To top it all off, donors will be entered to win a trip for four to Disneyland!
