Why We Do This

There are no quick-fixes when it comes to tackling issues such as the health of Canada's young people. That's why it takes a group of committed, passionate and visionary people to make change happen. 

Moving toward this change together are Make-A-Wish Foundation Canada®, MICRYN and KIDS strong + free. Identifying and addressing different elements of the same goal, these three organizations are committed to improving children's health care across our nation.

Make-A-Wish Foundation Canada® brings happiness to children with life-threatening illnesses...children who haven't yet benefited from the research being conducted on their behalf. When Make-A-Wish Foundation Canada® grants their wishes, these children — together with their families — experience hope, joy and strength.  

MICYRN has been created by children's hospitals, medical personnel and researchers across Canada, to address the often overlooked areas of maternal, infant, child and youth health research. At MICRYN, the goal is to support this research by building a shared and sustainable national research network.

KIDS strong + free is the fundraising campaign in support of MICYRN and Make-A-Wish Foundation Canada®. Sponsored by Eye Wonder Studios, this national campaign is aimed at the hearts and wallets of donors, partners, sponsors and friends of this charitable initiative.
